Recess: Students enjoy their recess at our indoor recreational gymnasium.
Homework Expectations: Vary per grade. No homework given on Wednesday to allow for church activities.
Uniforms: Uniforms are required and may be purchased through TrueGrits.com
Grade Levels: Classes may be combined to form combo classes.
Interview/Testing: An admissions test is administered to all incoming students and a family interview is held for final acceptance into program.
Computers: Laptops are recommended for students in grade 4 & above.
Priority Enrollment: Priority enrollment is given to current families.
Tuition Discount: A 5% cash discount is offered when paying for the year in advance.
Sibling Discount: We offer a 3rd child discount of 20% off tuition only.
School Pictures: Packages begin at $28.
Graduation: Cap & gown price $50 (8th Grade).
Tuition Term: Umana Academy has a 10-month tuition commitment (Aug-May).
Matriculation Fees: All matriculation fees are non-refundable.
Charter School: We are an educational provider for various charter schools.  Funds are not guaranteed.
Additonal Homeschool Training: To help ensure our students are receiving high quality and standardized instruction, we have one mandatory parent-teacher training meeting at the beginning of the year and other homeschool parent support seminars throughout the year.  If this is your first year homeschooling, we are here to help you make a smooth transition.
Parent Involvement: We encourage parent volunteers.  There are various areas of service and participation that would be appreciated and many ways to be involved. (Special Events Commitee, Room Mom Volunteer, Moms Bible Study, Playdate Coordinators, etc.).
